The collaboration started in the summer of 2023 when Remeo needed to harmonize the weighing systems in use. When seeking a new service, Remeo carefully evaluated the market options, and Lielahti states that mScales was selected due to its economic and operational benefits.
"The need for the mScales weighing service was crystal clear. As a national operator, we have offices from Oulu to Lappeenranta, which is why we wanted to centralize our weighing services. Our goal was to have a single system from one service provider. Today, we handle all weighing operations with mScales and manage the scales remotely from Tampere", says Lielahti.

Remeo is more than just a waste treatment facility; we aim to deliver customers relevant data obtained through weighing services. mScales aids us in verifying aspects such as our customers' recycling rates and carbon footprint" Lielahti explains.

Lielahti is pleased with the smooth cooperation with mScales. Despite the tight schedule, the project was successfully completed, and the mutual learning from the collaboration was particularly valuable.
"Overall, the cooperation with the mScales-team has been excellent, as they have been very flexible. They exceeded our expectations with their fast response and their strong commitment to cooperation. We had a very tight schedule for the project, which was strictly adhered to. But the best thing was the reciprocity of the collaboration - I think we all learned a lot from the joint development work," says Lielahti.
