Steps in implementing mScales
This article provides an overview of the mScales onboarding process.
The main phases in implementation of the mScales weighing service (taking mScales into use, connecting the weighing device to mScales, and integrating mScales to business systems) are guided by the mScales Support team in customer meetings.
The following mScales onboarding process contains four different customer meetings, which are in vital role in enabling fluent and fast process from order to production use of mScales.

Project kick-off meeting
Objectives of the meeting:
- Introducing the whole onboarding process to the customer
- Introducing the agenda and targets of the customer meetings
- Going through how the customer should prepare for the meetings
- Scheduling the customer meetings and inviting the correct people
- Enabling understanding and confidence of the onboarding process
- Creating user account for account manager
Participants:
- Customer contact person
- Customer technical person, if possible
- Customer account manager, if possible
mScales training
Objectives of the meeting:
- Learning the customer account managers how to use the service
- Learning the customer account managers how the service can be tailored for their needs
- Enabling customer to start learning the service independently
Participants:

Technical meeting
Objectives of the meeting:
- Checking the data of the Preliminary Information Survey
- Clarifying the technical details concerning connecting the scale to mScales
- Agreeing on mScales/Customer responsibilities
- Agreeing on the schedule of the installation
- Enabling start of gateway configuration and installation

Objectives of the meeting:
- Introducing the roles and responsibilities regarding integrations
- Making sure there are no open questions about integrations
- Enabling start of integration work by the integration partner
