Performing a weighing with a weighing code

Drivers will receive the weighing code via email or text message. Regardless of the code’s delivery method, the weighing process is identical. Weighing codes are created, managed and sent by mScales users.

Incoming weighing process

1. Open the weighing code message you received from mScales via email or text message.
2. Access the code weighing page by clicking the link in the email or text message.
   
   
   
   
3. Weighing code selection and order description will be automatically filled in the “Start” view.
   
   
4. Add a register number by pressing the pen icon.
   
   
5. Select a vehicle type from the dropdown.
   - Selection determines which part of the vehicle needs to be weighed.
   - “Truck” = The product is in the truck, not in a trailer etc.
   - “Trailer” = The product is in the trailer, not the truck itself.
   - “Tandem trailer” = The product is in both the truck and the trailer.
   
   
6. Press “Weighing”.
   
   
7. Drive the vehicle onto the scale.
8. When the weight is stable, press “Start incoming weighing”.
   
   
9. Wait while the scale performs the weighing.
10. Review results in the “Weighing ticket” view (opens automatically once the weighing is completed).
    
    
11. Press “Ok” and drive away from the scale.
    - Application will automatically return to the “Start” view.
    
    

Outgoing weighing process

1. Press “Weighing”.
   
   
2. Drive the vehicle onto the scale.
3. When the weight is stable, press “Start outgoing weighing”.
   
   
4. Wait while the scale performs the weighing.
5. Review results in “Weighing ticket” view (opens automatically once the weighing is completed).
   
   
6. Press “Ok” and drive away from the scale.
   - Application will automatically return to the “Start” view.
7. Weighing ticket will be sent automatically to defined email addresses (configured by mScales users).
