Creating mScales user account
Introduction
The user account creation process differs slightly depending on whether the account belongs to a paying customer or to a free user. In all cases, the user's account creation needs approval before usage is enabled.
For paying customers, the first user account of the company is always approved by the mScales support team. After the first account is approved, all future user approval requests for the same company are automatically directed to the company’s own account manager. The account manager can approve new users and assign suitable user roles according to their needs.
For free accounts, all registration requests are reviewed by the mScales support team. Support team checks whether access can be granted, blocks suspicious requests and approves valid users. Approved users are given basic access to weighing information, reporting and knowledge base so they can use the service safely and efficiently.
Creating user account
- Open the login page of the mScales production environment (https://mscales.com/login) or the demo environment (https://demo.mscales.com/login)
- Click “Don’t have an account? Sign up”

- Fill in the form
- Enter the company’s VAT number in the format FI123456 (not FI12345-6 or 123456).
- Use the company’s official email domain whenever possible. If the company does not have an official email domain, provide an email address that can be easily verified, for example one that appears in public company information when searched online. - Click Sign up-button at the bottom of the form to submit your information
