Can I reuse weighing codes?

Yes, weighing codes can be reused depending on how they are defined in mScales. Weighing codes are defined by mScales users as either single- or multi-use codes.

A single-use weighing code can be used only once. A multi-use weighing code can be reused as many times as needed until it expires. The reuse is not limited by the number of weighings, only by the validity period of the code.

A common example is a continuous order that has a multi-use weighing code. The weighing code is set to be valid e.g. for a whole year. During this time, drivers will always use the same weighing code when making weighings regarding that order.
