Transferring data with an ERP integration

When mScales is integrated into an ERP system, master data is transferred directly from the ERP system to mScales via API. This ensures that the information is up to date and that the master data used in the weighing service remains consistent with the ERP system.

Data without an ERP integration

If no ERP integration is active, the master data stored in the old weighing system is often outdated or inconsistent. Because of this, transferring old master data into the new system is not recommended. Instead, the system change should be used as an opportunity to create new, clean and accurate master data for mScales.
